Practical, relevant, forward-looking: the RUCK Academy’s 2026 Continuing Professional Development Programme

Neuenbürg, December 2025 – With its 2026 continuing professional development programme, the RUCK Academy sets its focus on content that is directly relevant to everyday practice – whilst also having taken a deep specialist approach. The new annual programme is aimed at professionals in podiatry, foot health and beauty, and combines live webinars, workshops and multi-day face-to-face sessions to create a flexible training framework.

“A new feature of the 2026 programme is a panel discussion on the future of podiatry, which we are incorporating for the first time in collaboration with podo deutschland,” explains Samuel Ruck, Head of Sales and Training at HELLMUT RUCK GmbH. “In total, the continuing education programme comprises more than 200 courses, webinars and events.”

The 2026 continuing professional development programme combines a variety of learning formats into a flexible offering – ranging from concise live webinars for efficient knowledge transfer and practice-oriented workshops to in-person events lasting several days, which provide opportunities for personal interaction and professional exchange. The content is consistently tailored to the demands of everyday professional life and takes into account varying levels of knowledge, time constraints and individual training objectives.

In terms of content, the RUCK Academy 2026 sets clear priorities. Dermatological issues, reliable differential diagnosis, current hygiene standards and legally compliant working practices are just as much a part of the programme as exploring the future of podiatry. In the new year, the RUCK Academy is setting its focus on events of especially high professional relevance. These include, amongst others:

• Panel discussion: Podiatry needs a future (31 January 2026) Representatives from practice, education and professional associations discuss perspectives, challenges and potential solutions for the future of podiatry.
• Warts and Mycosis Expert Days (24–25 April 2026) The latest dermatological findings, practical differential diagnosis and evidence-based therapeutic approaches for everyday clinical practice.
• Hygiene Congress 2026 (20–21 November 2026) Practice-relevant expert knowledge on legal requirements, hygiene management and practice safety; certified with recognised continuing professional development credits.

Many of the RUCK Academy’s events are accredited with recognised continuing professional development credits. These are clearly stated and help podiatry professionals to effectively combine professional development with formal continuing professional development requirements in a practical way.
