Telematics infrastructure and eVerordnung: HELLMUT RUCK GmbH is shaping the digital future of pharmaceutical supply
HELLMUT RUCK GmbH exhibited at BEAUTY Düsseldorf from 20 to 22 March 2026 – and used the platform to bring a pressing issue for the future to the attention of the professional community: the digital networking of podiatry. Simeon Ruck, Managing Director and also a board member of the Association for Healthcare Software, was with you not only with practical knowledge, but also with a clear vision for the entire industry.
BEAUTY Düsseldorf 2026: Practical presentations on telematics infrastructure
On the “BEAUTY Full Feet Stage”, Simeon Ruck gave two talks entitled “Digital connectivity in podiatry – your path to telematics infrastructure”. The presentations were aimed directly at professionals in podiatry and foot health. They provided practical guidance on how to successfully transition to telematics infrastructure (TI) – step by step, without requiring any prior technical knowledge – and what opportunities digital networking provides for healthcare providers.
With you was also pododesk, RUCK’s practice management software, which supports podiatry practices in digital networking and enables connection to the TI directly from day-to-day practice operations.
Thinking about eVerordnung the right way – the Association for Healthcare Software presents a position paper
With the introduction of electronic prescribing (eVerordnung), the supply of medicines is on the verge of a fundamental transformation. The Association for Medicines Software has been supporting this process from the outset and has adopted a position paper on successful incorporation in January 2026.
The paper deliberately outlines an ideal goal “from A to Z” – independent of existing transitional arrangements or historically established practices. From the Association’s perspective, the crucial factor for the success of eVerordnung is not merely the digital replication of existing paper-based processes, but the consistent redesign of workflows along a seamless, media-break-free target process.
In addition, the Association has developed a complete BPMN ideal process that structurally maps the entire lifecycle of the eVerordnung – from issuance through acceptance, service confirmation and billing to reimbursement. The Association regards these documents as a technical proposal and an invitation to dialogue. The aim is an eVerordnung that improves care, relieves the burden on practices and actually harnesses digital potential.
“Every day, we see how much energy is wasted in practices thanks to unnecessary queries and paper-based processes. The eVerordnung can change that – if we think it through consistently from the very beginning.”
