Terms and conditions of the competition 1 year RUCK UK

Participation takes place as part of our social media competition. We (hereinafter referred to as the operator or organiser) organise competitions exclusively in accordance with these conditions of participation. We do not recognise any conflicting, deviating or supplementary terms and conditions of the person entitled to participate unless we have expressly agreed to their validity in writing.

Procedure of the competition

The duration of the competition extends from 26/09/2024 to 03/10/2024, 23:59. During this period, users will have the opportunity to take part in the competition.

To enter

The following steps are necessary to take part in the competition:

1. Follow the RUCK UK Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/hellmutruck_uk/
   
2. Like the competition post on Instagram.
   
3. Comment on the competition post with #feetmoveus and tag a fellow UK-based podiatrist or foot health practitioner.
4. Register for an online account in our RUCK UK Online Store (if not already registered)

Participation is only possible within the participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered in the draw. Each participant can only take part in the competition once.

Participation in the competition is free of charge.

Eligible participants

Natural persons who are resident in the United Kingdom and have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate. All persons involved in the conception and realisation of the competition and employees of the operator are not eligible to participate in the competition. In addition, the operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example

(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition,
(b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation,
(c) in the event of unfair behaviour or
(d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the competition.

Winning, notification and transfer of the prize

1x The ‘Samuel Ruck’ Instruments-Set (Item no. 3703601) + 1x The ‘Samuel Ruck’ Rotating Instruments-Set (Item no. 3703701) worth £339.00, incl. delivery to UK.

The winner will be chosen after the closing date in a random draw from all those who have followed the RUCK UK Instagram account, liked and commented on the competition post during the competition period. The winner of the prize draw will be contacted via direct message on Instagram, in or by phone by our Country Manager UK Rorie Townsend. The prize will be delivered to the winner only. It is not possible to exchange or collect the prize yourself along with a cash payment. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize will be borne by the winner, with the exception of free delivery, which will only be made to the UK. If the winner cannot be contacted twice via social media within a period of 5 days, the prize can be transferred to a different participant.

Data protection

Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The participant assures that the information given by him/her is true and correct. The legal basis for the processing of the data provided to us is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a DSGVO and Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO. The organiser points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor made available to them for use without consent. In the event of a win, the winner agrees to the publication of their name in the advertising media used by the organiser. This closes the announcement of the winners on the social media platforms. The participant can revoke their consent at any time. The revocation must be sent in writing to the organiser. Once consent has been withdrawn, the participant's personal data that has been collected and stored will be deleted immediately.

Final provisions

Questions or complaints in connection with the competition should be addressed to the organiser. Contact details can be found in the legal notice section. Amendments and/or additions to these conditions of participation must be made in writing. German law applies to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and the dispositive regulations of international private law. If the authorised participant is a merchant within the meaning of the German Commercial Code, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, or if he has his general place of jurisdiction abroad, the exclusive - also international - place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these conditions of participation with the authorised participant is our registered office. However, we are also entitled in all cases to bring an action at the general place of jurisdiction of the authorised participant. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions of Participation be invalid or contradict the statutory regulations, this shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the contract.

Legal recourse is excluded.
