To clean the flex hose

The message appears as an emotion to clean the inside of the Flex suction hose. You can set the timer to a value between 5 and 35 operating hours. You can also switch off the emotion entirely. Tap Done to close the message. Then disassemble and clean the hose by putting it in a disinfectant bath for a maximum of 15 minutes.

Questions and answers

How does the hose cleaning work?

Clean the Flex suction hose and motor cable at least every 20 operating hours. A clean suction hose receives maximum suction power and prevents the accumulation of large quantities of potentially pathogenic particles.
After cleaning in a disinfectant bath, the hose must be allowed to dry for approx. 12 hours before being reinstalled. If you clean the suction hose in the evening, you can use it again in the morning.

Is the Podiatry Drill a medical device?

Yes, the Nova Pro and podolog Nova 3s Podiatry Drills are Class IIa Medical Devices.

Nova SE, podolog ECO and ONE Foot Care Drills are not medical devices and therefore not suitable for medical use.

In the rare event of a breakdown or fault, we can provide the advice and support you need. Repairs should be carried out quickly to ensure that your practice is able to continue without interruption. In order to be able to help you in a timely manner, we not only carry out repairs in our workshop, but for the large items, we can also visit your premises in person - after all, you can’t send your Treatment Chair/Couch back to us!

Maintenance service

Regular servicing protects against breakdowns! This applies to your drill - and for medical devices such as the PODOLOG NOVA 3s, regular servicing is a legal obligation in order to maintain high levels patient and practitioner safety. Regular maintenance will pay for itself twice over by extending its life. As a result, it can be used for longer and will not need to be replaced as often.All actions taken during the servicing appointment are recorded in accordance with the relevant standards. Maintenance servicing is provided by RUCK in our workshop or at your premises depending on the nature of the product.
