Dispenser systems

Dispenser systems for hygienic disinfection

In the hygiene-sensitive daily routine of a practice, regular hand disinfection should be the focus of attention. It is therefore all the more important that disinfection is carried out with as little contact as possible. Dispenser systems for disinfectants offer a contactless sensor control or a low-contact lever function for this purpose. We offer modern dispenser systems from our own RUCK brand along with brands from trade partners such as Bode, ECOLAB, Saraya and Schülke.

How do dispenser systems work?

Hand disinfection is one of the most important actions for infection prevention, especially in areas with an increased pathogen spectrum. Dispenser systems will emphasise this aspect thanks to their automated operation.

Instead of touching potentially contaminated outer packaging of disinfectants, operation is done via sensors or by arm lever. In both cases, the dispenser system dispenses a pre-dosed amount of disinfectant. With most systems, the dispensing quantity can be configured in several stages. Refilling is done either by replacing the bottle with a disposable container or by refilling an integrated tank.

These dispenser systems in medicine and practice are available

Depending on your needs, you receive dispenser systems in different versions. These include:

  • Free-standing hand disinfection station: With a motion-controlled sensor and mobile stand at a hand-friendly height, the station offers flexible positioning and contactless disinfection. Refilling is done via a refillable tank or bottle changing system.
  • Wall-mounted dispensers: Depending on the type, dispenser systems for wall mounting can be operated by sensor, arm lever or dosing pump. Free-standing application is also possible in some cases. Selected models even offer an emergency operating lever should the automatic operation fail.
  • Overhead wall dispensers: As an extremely user-friendly dispensing system, overhead wall dispensers use sensor technology for contact-free disinfection. The dosage is in most cases configurable.

What are dispenser systems made of?

In our RUCK online shop you will find a wide range of dispenser systems made of high-quality materials such as attractive plastic, high-quality aluminium or powder-coated metal from sustainable production. The systems are the best thanks to their hygienic, easy-to-clean surfaces and, depending on the model, even offer an integrated drip tray for collecting disinfectant.

How are dispenser systems attached?

Free-standing systems can be flexibly positioned without drilling or screwing thanks to a robust stand. This then offers a well visible placement in entrance and waiting areas. Wall-mounted dispensers are in most cases fixed with screws or glue.

Which dispenser system offers the best hygiene performance?

Contactless dispensers with sensor technology offer the best possible overall hygiene of all dispenser systems. The dispensing takes place via light sensor technology as soon as you hold your hand under the dispensing aid. In contrast to low-contact lever or pump systems, no contact with the dispenser system is necessary, apart from when changing bottles or refilling.

Cleaning and refilling the dispenser system

Even with low-contact disinfection, regular hygienic cleaning is essential. Thanks to smooth surfaces, some of which have an antibacterial effect, cleaning and maintenance can be done quickly with professional surface disinfection. Dispensing aids are in most cases also dishwasher-safe or, in the case of stainless steel and aluminium, possibly autoclavable.

Refilling the dispenser system

Refilling is in most cases a matter of a few quick steps thanks to uniform bottle sizes, disposable containers or refill tanks. Depending on the system, you can open and close the housing for maintenance, cleaning or refilling with a clip, lock or key.

The available operating mechanisms range from dosing without touching to low-contact operation via arm lever or pressure pump. We also offer important accessories such as various dosing aids or signal frames for better visibility. Discover now our range of dispenser systems from our high-quality own brand along with systems and accessories from our private label partners such as Bode, Hartmann, ECOLAB, Saraya and Schülke.

Convenient accessories for dispenser systems

As soon as the disinfectant in the dispenser system is replaced, it is routine to clean or change the pump as well. There are various possible ways to do this. If you have pump bottles made of stainless steel or disinfectable plastic, they can be easily reprocessed for reuse according to the appropriate specifications. Disposable plastic pumps, on the other hand, offer the benefit of absolute hygiene. Thanks to the disposal of used pumps, the contamination chain is interrupted and there are no reprocessing costs.
