The indication-specific treatment sets from BUSCH have been put together with podiatry experts. The focus was on common presentations and courses of action that regularly arise in everyday practice, such as corns (Clavi). Accordingly, rotary instruments have been selected and arranged in the sterilisable STERI-SAFEpro instrument stand, then you have all the necessary burs and grinders to hand in a single movement, depending on the indication. For the treatment of corns, for example, the Clavi-Set provides them. This contains the instruments usually required for corn therapy, systematically arranged in a set.

Included are four carbide round burs with sharp-cutting flutes and a special cross-cut in various sizes, which are suitable for the gentle removal of corns. For the treatment of deep-seated corns in particular, the instrument set includes two hollow burs in different sizes. The two integrated diamond burs are suitable for the final smoothing and reconditioning of circular calluses.

Easy to reprocess

Besides the selection of application-oriented instruments, the properties of the STERI-SAFEpro offer a further benefit. This instrument stand, made from medical-grade plastic, can be easily integrated into standard hygienic reprocessing cycles, from pre-cleaning through disinfection to sterilisation at a maximum of 180 degrees.
Using the STERI-SAFEpro during hygienic reprocessing prevents damage to your instruments, as the working parts of the rotating instruments cannot touch or knock against one another. Furthermore, all rotating instruments in the STERI-SAFEpro are optimally protected against falling out, whether during cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner or in a washer-disinfector. During sterilisation, all tips and sharp edges of the rotating instruments are covered by the STERI-SAFEpro’s bracket, then there is no risk of them piercing the sterile packaging.
After sterilisation, the loaded STERI-SAFEpro can be stored in the sterile packaging or, following thermal disinfection, in the hygiene box to protect it from dust.
