Ergonomics – more than just a word
A common definition is: ‘Ergonomics is the science of optimally adapting technology between people and working conditions.’ Where possible, technology and equipment should therefore be adapted to human needs. It is particularly important to design the working environment and work processes in a way that promotes good health, especially when carrying out one's own profession. With podiatry, long periods of sitting, leaning forward, often twisted posture towards the work equipment and the customer, along with carrying heavy equipment during home visits are perceived as especially stressful for the back. Ergonomic practice furnishings make an important contribution to preventing tension and relieving strain on the back. With RUCK clinic concepts, we provide product solutions that are optimally coordinated for the treatment process in podiatry and foot health and provide the practitioner with optimum support from an ergonomic point of view.
