Since discovering BLUE LIGHT professional on the RUCK stand at one of the exhibitions in Munich, Barbara Greifeld-Wessels, owner of “MediFuss” podiatry practice, has already treated many patients with this revolutionary nail correction system.
What benefit do you see with this passive type of nail correction system?
“With this type of nail correction system, therapeutic success can be achieved very quickly even when the nail fold is slightly inflamed. Furthermore, it is a great benefit that it also can be used to treat diabetic patients in a safe way.”
Can you give an example from your daily practice?
“I have been treating a 10-year-old patient with an ingrown nail on her big toe with the BLUE LIGHT professional system for two months now. At her first visit, she was quite worried about the treatment because she was experiencing a lot of pain. After three days of daily tamponading, there was enough space in the affected nail fold to apply the nail brace. Relatively quickly, the inflammation subsided and the nail grew back in its original type.”
What advice would you give to those who are new to nail bracing?
„“Not every brace is perfect at the beginning, but that is not a reason to give up right away. Just persevere, because this system is the future of nail correction!”“.
