The patented colour change technology warns of an impending overheating of the skin via a two-stage colour change in good time. Patients and users then receive more safety in podiatry and foot care professionals. Diabetics in particular often only have a minimalist perception of temperature and pain on their feet along with impaired wound-healing. With the colour change of the thermal abrasive caps, the risks for diabetics are reduced to a minimum. Abrasive caps have always been classified as a disposable product, i.e. they are not determined for single use. From the point of view of patient protection, this is extremely practical, as it eliminates cross-contamination, which is also highly important for high-risk patients, such as diabetics. The thermal abrasive caps are available in round and pointed types. The respective sizes vary depending on the type.
