I am delighted that you've found your way here, and I extend a warm welcome to our new RUCK UK Online Store! I'm Simeon Ruck, the CEO of the HELLMUT RUCK company, which is a family-owned company dedicated to the health and wellbeing of feet for over 95 years. Our headquarters are nestled in the beautiful Northern Black Forest of southern Germany. Here, we channel our expertise into developing, consulting, and manufacturing high-quality products that are indispensable in your daily professional life as a podiatrist.
In Germany, RUCK is a pioneer in medically-oriented foot care, known as podology. The core philosophy, "Bringing awareness to the feet” established by the company founder, Hellmut Ruck senior, resonates even today. In 2019, I took over as CEO, and I am wholeheartedly dedicated to this legacy. Our vision, "Every person loves naturally healthy and beautiful feet." has led us to work with distribution partners in more than 30 countries worldwide, from Iceland to South Africa. Up until now, our direct sales and customer relationships were predominantly in German-speaking countries – Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. With the new RUCK UK Online Store, we, as a German market leader in foot care, are stepping directly into an international market for the first time, enabling us to connect directly with UK podiatrists.
Why the UK? The podiatry sector here, influenced by its academic training and a strong medical orientation, has always been an inspiration and somewhat of a role model for us. Additionally, the global language, English, enables us to build a close relationship with our customers through direct sales and active engagement.
With Rorie Townsend, an experienced sales and marketing expert from the UK, on board, we have the local presence to better understand the market and its needs. He's essentially the first 'UK-based part of our RUCK team,' ready to support you with achieving your podiatry dreams.
