Nail fold tampons: Effective protection, convenient aid
Tampons placed in the nail fold can serve various purposes. On the one hand, they reinforce the beneficial lever effect of nail braces; on the other, they provide protection and simplify the application of balms and tinctures. When it comes to ingrown nails as well as claw or rolled nails, nail fold tamponades are therefore indispensable.
Besides widening the nail fold, they are used in particular to protect against adhesives and in conjunction with peclavus PODOmed pre- or post-treatment tincture. Tamponades are also the first choice for pain relief and soothing the treated areas.
Nail reconstruction: For strong nails
In cases of severely damaged toenails due to deformities, fungal infections, trauma, or nail extraction, nail reconstruction delivers a quick solution. The nail replacement, precisely moulded from acrylic, not only looks deceptively real – it also protects the exposed nail bed from possible injury.
