Disinfection Posts & Dispensers

Hand sanitiser stations for quick, contactless hand sanitisation

Installing hand sanitiser stations for contactless hand sanitisation in podiatry practices offers many benefits. Mobile sanitiser stations, which can be placed in various locations in the waiting area and treatment rooms, enable compliance with current hygiene standards. They minimise the risk of infection and thereby boost patients’ confidence. As a practitioner, you also benefit from easily accessible sanitiser stations in the practice rooms.

Simple, time-saving, reliable: freestanding disinfection stations for your practice rooms

Disinfection stations are freestanding units or stations designed for quick and easy hand disinfection. In places where hand hygiene plays a particularly important role, they have established themselves as mobile hand sanitiser stations. As a result, they are now found not only in medical settings – such as doctors’ surgeries, physiotherapy or podiatry practices – but also in high-traffic areas or public facilities such as government offices, office buildings or shopping centres.

In most cases, sanitiser stations are made with a robust base or a similarly stable substructure. At the top is a dispenser, usually refillable or replaceable, which is filled with a hand sanitiser. The hand sanitiser dispensers in our product range have a refillable tank with a capacity of 1,000 ml, which is also suitable for alcohol-based sanitisers.

The dispenser unit of battery-operated sanitiser stations, such as those found in the RUCK product range, is connected to a UV light sensor. This reacts as soon as the sensor area is activated by holding hands beneath it and triggers a spray. However, there are also sanitiser stations that are operated manually – for example, using a button or a pump mechanism. The operating batteries for the sanitiser columns in our hygiene range are powered by four 1.5 V batteries. With full batteries and a full tank, they allow for around 30,000 dispensing cycles.

Sanitiser dispensers can be installed, for example, in entrance, reception and waiting areas, as well as in toilet antechambers or at the entrance to treatment rooms.

The benefits of hand sanitiser stations at a glance

Hand sanitiser stations for contactless hand sanitisation offer a convenient, everyday solution for improving hand hygiene among patients and staff. They enable hand sanitisation before and after treatment, which contributes to a significant reduction in the risk of infection.

Particularly in busy podiatry practices, installing hand sanitiser stations in strategically placed areas can reduce waiting times. Patients and practitioners can sanitise their hands independently here so that day-to-day practice is more efficient and safer overall.

Providing hand sanitiser stations shows your patients that your practice prioritises hygiene and safety above all else. This conveys a positive image and delivers a sense of customer-friendliness and care.
