Adhesive instead of wire: The principle of the GOLDSTADT professional adhesive brace
Unlike conventional nail braces with wire elements, the GOLDSTADT professional adhesive brace is secured directly to the nail plate. Thanks to precise bending in the opposite direction to the natural nail curvature, the force of leverage of the precious metal clasp is activated. Thanks to you, it is not necessary to fix them with wire. Instead, you wet the brace placed on the nail with light-curing UV gel in the final step of the treatment.
This is how the adhesive brace contacts the toenail
Each nail correction adhesive brace has its own mechanism. We explain how to apply the GOLDSTADT professional to the nail professionally - step by step:
- Clean the nail fold and shorten the nail tip with the top cutter.
- Smooth the nail tip and nail plate with the grinder.
- Clean the entire nail plate with the RUCK nail correction cleaner.
- Insert tamponades to stretch the nail folds and optionally wet with peclavus pre-treatment to soothe.
- Measure with the measuring aid until just before the opposite nail fold.
- Adjust the brace to the curvature of the nail plate using the round-step pliers.
- Then bend the brace against the direction of application to activate the force of leverage.
- Clean and degrease the brace and nail plate.
- Wet the nail surface with RUCK activator.
- Apply a thin layer of adhesive to the brace and place it on the nail. Press on each side for about 20 seconds.
- Remove any excess glue.
- Apply a thin layer of RUCK UV gel to the nail. If the nail is damp or greasy, use RUCK Primer first.
- Apply the next layer of UV gel generously to completely cover the adhesive brace.
- Set the UV gel for about two minutes using the light curing unit.
- Be sure to replace the tamponades with new ones thanks to contaminants.
- Finally, impregnate the tamponades with optional peclavus PODOmed AntiMYX Silver.
